Our kind friends at DST in Surbiton included us in their Education Drive this month, and collected lots of goodies for our Afterschool Club at YMCA Surbiton, with colouring books, pens and pencils, stickers and pads.

If you came along to Surbiton Festival last weekend, you couldn’t fail to miss our mascot Luna Boo in the procession along with our YMCA staff who were dressed as The Village People.
YMCA Surbiton resident Daiva is an art teacher and taught in Lithuania before she came to the UK, so it’s no surprise that she is putting her skills to good use and encouraging other residents to express themselves through art at a group she has set up on a Tuesday evening at the hostel.
On Saturday 17 September we opened our doors at Y:Cube to the public as part of the London Open House Scheme, which is a celebration of architecture around London, from classic styles to ultra modern innovation.

Our Young Carers residential trip to West Wales saw 10 youngsters have a fantastic holiday and well-deserved break.
