Location:  Corporate Office, Surbiton and/or YMCA Walthamstow

Contract:  Fixed-term for 12 months maternity cover; Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Salary:     £21,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience


YMCA St Paul’s Group (SPG) emerged from the coming together of four separate Associations over an 18-month period. The group is largest YMCA in Europe and one of the largest providers of supported housing in London and beyond providing a safe place to stay for over 1,200 residents each night.

The role

This role is based at the Corporate Office in Surbiton, reporting to the Director of Property and Places. The postholder will be expected to work as part of a team co-ordinating the general running of the Property and Places Directorate. This will include providing administration and secretarial support. The postholder will also be responsible for acting as first point of contact for the Director of Property & Places in relation to staff and contractor queries .

Applicants should have:

  • Experience of general office administration
  • Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office

Having a computing qualification and/or building maintenance/compliance knowledge may be helpful but is not essential.
