Location: YMCA Wimbledon
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Including evenings and weekends)
Salary: £27,000 per annum

During these exciting times for the association, We are seeking a highly motivated person to oversee the day to day running of the Health and Wellbeing facility at this busy Centre; having operational responsibility and ensuring excellent customer service for our members. You will lead and develop staff; keep abreast of new initiatives and developments in the fitness industry and help to further develop the services offered in the Centre and across the department; manage the maintenance of the Plus2 membership system; and ensure the Department meets its stategic goals, as well as its annual budget.
We seek a Level 3 qualified fitness professional with working knowledge of the Health and Fitness industry and of community development programmes; experience of managing staff, providing a range of activities for diverse groups, and running a gym is essential. It would be beneficial for candidates to be educated to degree level or Level 3 REPS, with an emphasis on health related exercise issues; to have knowledge of membership databases; to have experience of working with hard to reach groups.
