Come Wednesday 27th May, Lorna Adekaiyaoja will be getting up before dawn to get on a 5am bus, heading south, to Brockenhurst College in New Forest, where the Wessex Salon Culinaire – one of Britain’s largest culinary competitions – is taking place.

Music and Friendship at YMCA’s Youth Projects

Over a six week period this winter twelve young carers between the ages of 11 and 18 have regularly attended the weekly music sessions at the John Innes Youth Centre in Wimbledon, learning to play instruments, explore their creativity and getting new friends.
