Gain invaluable experiences whilst helping others.
We have opportunities throughout various departments of YMCA Walthamstow, where people can volunteer their time, skills and experience. People volunteer for many reasons. Perhaps they are between jobs and want to keep busy while they look for another, perhaps they want to add some valuable work experience to their CV or perhaps they simply have some spare time and want to help others. Whatever their motivation, we are here to work with them to ensure that they are in a role that is right for them.
All our volunteers receive induction training and are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check. We also offer a variety of benefits to our volunteers, such as expenses, relevant training opportunities and access to our Health & Wellbeing facilities.
If you are interested in applying for any of the following volunteering opportunities (excluding the Youth Worker role), please download the volunteer-application-form, volunteer-application-guidelines and Volunteer Policy. Alternatively, if you require further information on any role please contact the Learning & Skills Team on 020 3326 6062 or email email@example.com
