Welcome to the May issue of our monthly online newsletter for children and families, produced by the Children and Family Work team at YMCA St. Paul’s Group.
We help whole families to flourish. We have safe and trusted Early Years care and developmental activities, family support and mediation help when difficult issues arise at home or school, summer and school holiday camps, and activities that are just plain fun for everyone.

Earth Day
On 18 April a group of children from Jumpers! nursery joined staff to plant seeds and bulbs at South Ealing. They planted potatoes, beetroot and runner beans in the nursery garden. We can’t wait to watch them grow!
The children also enjoyed using large rollers to and create a collage on recycled cardboard.

Looking to book a children’s birthday party? Our kids parties at YMCA South Ealing are ideal for under eights.
Our party hire package means we provide use of our air conditioned soft play studio and café, and you provide supervision and refreshments. There is plenty of free parking for you and your guests. Parties cost £220 for a 2 hour slot and are available at weekends.
Are you looking for a venue to hire in South Ealing? We have a purpose made studio, ideal for adults and kids activity and dance classes available to hire.
Available from Monday – Friday, the hire charge is just £30 per hour.

Crafting Connections
Handsworth children have been continuing to exchange messages with local care homes and have been focusing on SPRING and MINIBEASTS. The children created their own beautiful beetles to send to their eager recipients in the care home.
Crafting connections is a project that aims to boost wellbeing, reduce loneliness and foster stronger, happier communities by creating joyful intergenerational experiences.
Time flies when you’re having fun!
