We’re kicking off the season’s festivities with a magical afternoon at the YMCA White House festive event on Friday 1 December. The fabulous Thameside Ladies Harmony Chorus will get us all in the mood as they perform a selection of their favourite Christmas songs at 4.15pm – so sit back, relax and enjoy as they fill the centre with their beautiful voices.

No festive event is complete without  mulled wine and mince pies and we are delighted to serve them to you, free of charge. You might also want to treat yourself to something delicious from our Christmas menu for lunch beforehand in the café. We offer great home-cooked food at competitive prices in a light and airy setting.  Take your pick from our lovely hot meals or a sandwich, panini or jacket potato. There’s free face painting for the children too, so bring the whole family along after school for a lovely treat.

At around 4.30pm join us as we head over to the square behind the centre to see the Christmas lights switch on, kindly organised for the community by our very own local councillors –  the perfect aaah moment as Advent begins!  There’ll be lots of Christmassy activities in the square for all the family to enjoy – maybe even a reindeer or two?!

While you’re in the centre, why not organise your tickets for the Christmas concert with the Middlesex Yeomanry Concert Band? It’s our big festive highlight of the on Sunday 10 December at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £10 per ticket which includes a programme and refreshments. Our staff on reception will be happy to provide more information.
