YMCA SPG emerged from the coming together of a number of separate YMCA Associations over an 18 month period. The group is now the largest YMCA in Europe and one of the largest providers of supported housing in London providing a safe place to stay for over 1,200 residents each night. In addition to providing supported accommodation, education and training, the Association is focused on the transformation of communities through its 6+ Health and Wellbeing Centres, including an outdoor swimming pool and a wide range of Children, Young People and Family programmes including nurseries, after school clubs and soft play centres. Through merger and accompanying new investment we expect the range, reach and impact of our services to grow so that we can better realise our vision.

Following the merger we centralised our Finance and IT functions and now have a vacancy for a Finance Officer, Purchase Ledger who will be responsible for ensuring that robust procedures are maintained and that all suppliers receive payments in accordance with agreed trading terms.  We are seeking an individual with at least 2 years’ experience of working within a purchase ledger function in a Finance team and who is fully conversant with purchase ledger and procurement procedures. The individual must have excellent Excel skills and be able to use accounting software.
