SOMEWHERE TO GO – SOMETHING TO DO – SOMEONE TO TALK TO
Free Activities for Young People
YMCA Walthamstow’s Youth Service has a range of activities for young people, of all ages and abilities. If you are between 11–21 years of age then this is the service for you. We believe that all young people deserve the best possible start in life, to be inspired and to reach their full potential. Our Youth Service programmes and activities aim to achieve this by providing opportunities and support for young people.
If you are interested in hanging out in a safe place, meeting new people and taking part in a wide range of activities – then why not come down to our Youth Centre. We are always revising our activities to ensure that we have something for everyone.

Activities will resume on Tuesday 15 January.

Shout Out to Our Jack Petchey Awardees for 2017!
We would like to show our appreciation and give a special ‘shout out’ to all the young people who have contributed to our successes and achievements across many of our projects, and as a result have become Jack Petchey Silver Level Awardees. These young people have undertaken tireless hours of commitment, effort and determination to overcome their own struggles and hardships to persevere in the midst of adversity, which has been truly amazing and we are indebted to you all. Silver Level Jack Petchey Awardees:
Gabya Nakrosiute – Diva Zone
Daisy Kelly-Green – youth Gym, AMP (Stop Animation and Dance)
Mark Omeonga – Basketball
Huseyin Sulayici – Basketball
So on behalf of the YMCA Walthamstow Youth Service Team, we would like to say a special ‘thank you’ to all our participants.
We would also like to thank all those organisations who have generously funded our Youth work:
