CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Cardio: Healthy heart, healthy mind

Indoor Cycling –  Outdoor cycling techniques indoors with different intensities to challenge you. Some sessions will include core/mat work as well.
Circuits – A combination of strength, cardio and stamina work using different exercise stations in the studio or gym.
FT45 – A 45 minute functional training circuit using TRX, kettlebells, free weights, battle ropes and a variety of other gym equipment.
Fit & Functional – Provides a functional and adaptable workout for conditioning the whole body.
H.I.I.T/Conditioning – A high energy class combining cardio, strength and plyometric exercises giving a whole body workout that burns calories while toning and shaping.
Running Club – Meet at reception – all levels welcome.

Dance: Get those feet moving!

Zumba –  A dynamic, exciting and effective workout to the sounds of Latin American and international music.
Dance Exercise – An aerobics class mixed with varying dance styles such as Commercial, Jazz, Hip Hop and Funk.
Ballroom Dancing – All ballroom and Latin styles plus Jive and
Rock & Roll. No partners required. A social way to keep fit.
Ballet Course – Learn the art of ballet whilst improving your posture, balance and confidence.

BODYPUMP™ –  Using barbells and free weights that will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast!
BODYBALANCE™ –  Take the body and mind to the next level, combining the most beneficial elements of yoga and Pilates and adding Tai Chi into the mix

Martial Arts

Combat Fit –Non-contact movements combine the dynamic punching and kicking of martial arts with western boxing. The ultimate aerobic workout.

Mind and Body: Relax, re-focus, re-energise

Pilates – A conditioning programme that improves muscle control, flexibility, coordination, strength and tone.
Yoga – Hatha style yoga based on a series of poses to promote flexibility, good posture mental wellbeing and calm.

Toning: Change your body shape

Aerotone – High energy aerobics followed by upper and lower body conditioning.
100% Abs – Traditional abdominal exercises and new integrated core training to work and strengthen the lower, mid, upper and oblique abdominal muscles.

Senior

Zumba Gold –  The Zumba formula with modified moves to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those new to the Zumba experience.
Fit4Life –  A gentle class designed to improve stamina, mobility and coordination through light aerobics, toning and exercise.
Indoor Bowls – Popular indoor version of bowls miniaturised to play easily inside.

Inclusive Lives

Inclusive Yoga –  A slower, adaptive form of Hatha yoga techniques designed to improve flexibility, posture and strength.
Supported Gym –  Get active with the help of a friendly personal trainer on hand each week for any questions or support.
Adult Multisports – A chance to get active and try out new activities each week in a friendly environment.
Move for Mood – A welcoming and inclusive class for all to improve wellbeing and get active.
