Release offers professional and affordable counselling for individuals, families and couples. The service is based out of YMCA Surbiton, where it is open to all.
Many individuals, couples and families find counselling helpful as it gives them an opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and supportive environment.
People seek counselling for many different reasons, including:
- Relationship and/or sexual difficulties
- Loss or bereavement
- Low self-esteem
- Abuse: physical, verbal, sexual, emotional, mental
- Issues of faith and spirituality
What do we offer?
We offer weekly sessions of 50 minutes which will continue for an agreed period. This can be brief (e.g. 6-12 sessions) or longer depending on need.
Our counselling services are open to all regardless of age, gender,faith, physical ability or sexual orientation.
Our aim is to provide a counselling service that is accessible to all. Fees will be agreed and dependant on the ability of the individual to pay.
Who are we?
Release is a counselling service staffed by people with shared values and a commitment to providing counselling that is accessible to people at their point of need.
All our counsellors are either fully qualified or in training. We offer a fully professional service and we are members of BACP, abiding by the Ethical Framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
All personal information shared during counselling is confidential to the service. No information will be disclosed to any other person without prior consent, unless in exceptional circumstances, e.g. legal requirement or harm to self and others.
