Housing Manager

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Housing Manager covering Roxeth Gate and Northolt, reporting to the Head of Supported Housing Services. The Housing Manager will be responsible for the Senior Housing Officer (Roxeth Gate), the Senior Weekend Duty Support Officer (Roxeth Gate), the Senior Night Support Manager (Roxeth Gate) and the Senior Housing Support Officer (Northolt).

The post holder will be expected to provide high quality, holistic support and temporary housing accommodation with associated facilities for young vulnerable people to develop their personal and social skills in order for them to live independently from the YMCA in a sustainable way. Every member of staff, therefore, has the support of residents as their primary purpose. The principle accountabilities of this post therefore flow from this premise. The Housing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the functions which supports the residents. The project is a YMCA West London partnership with Christ Church Roxeth and the Housing Manager is to work with the Church, and YMCA West London programmes and development Department in promoting and realising the vision for the Roxeth Gate Project.

Applicants should:
• Have knowledge of Supporting People Programme and the issues facing young vulnerable people
• Have knowledge of implementing Arrears Policies
• Have knowledge of preparing and managing a large budget
• Have knowledge of the security issues which may arise in a residential setting
• Have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a supported housing or similar environment and delivering supporting people service
• Have at least 1 year of Management experience
