Dance, fitness and sport classes for disabled people
Why not work out in the gym or take part in a sport, dance or fitness class? We have Inclusive Lives classes across YMCA St Paul’s Group. Our IFI sessions at YMCA Hawker offer something for everyone, from working out in the gym, to yoga and basketball. Meet new people, have fun and get fit!
The gym is open Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 10pm and Saturdays and Sundays, 8am to 8pm.
The restaurant is open Monday to Sunday 9am – 5pm.

IFI/Inclusive Classes at YMCA Hawker
11:15 – 12:15 – Disability Line Dancing
Line Dancing is a friendly, fun class that’s a great way to keep fit – old west style! This class takes place in studio 1.
12:30 – 13:30 – Disability Yoga
Hatha yoga teqhniques are designed to improve your flexibility, posture and strength. this class promotes relaxation and calm. This class takes place in studio 1.
11.00am-12.00pm – Supported Gym Session
A weekly one hour gym session where the same friendly personal trainer will be available each week for any questions, help or support you will need to get active in the gym. This class takes place in the main gym. Instructor: Jon.
18:00 – 19:30 – I.F.I. Access to Pod

11:00 – 12.00 – Multisports
A chance to get active and try out new activities each week in a friendly environment.
11:00 – 12:00 – Disability Zumba
A zesty and energetic dance class set to Latin music. This class takes place in studio 1.
12:30 – 13:30 Danceability
A fun way of exercising, where you learn a variety of dances and get the chance to share your moves with us. This class takes place in the main studio.
The best way to shape up is combining aerobic workout and toning up exercises. Sessions are available Monday to Friday and you can either work out alone or in a group.
Group: £20 (for up to 8 people).
Carers are entitled to support their individual throughout gym and class sessions free of charge. If a carer wishes to attend the gym or a class session when not supporting their individual, they can do so for the concessionary rate of £2.50 per session. Evidence of being a carer must be provided.

All our classes as able to accommodate group bookings. If you are an organisation interested in making a group booking, please contact our Inclusive Activities Co-ordinator. Carers can also take part in the group classes.
