About the Organisation
YMCA St Paul’s Group (SPG) emerged from the coming together of four separate Associations over an 18-month period. The group is largest YMCA in Europe and one of the largest providers of supported housing in London and beyond providing a safe place to stay for over 1,200 residents each night.

About the role
This role is based at our Corporate Office in Surbiton reporting to the Group Director of Finance and responsible for the Business Improvement Team. The postholder will be expected to lead on all aspects of business performance, improvement and monitoring. This will include working to develop strong and effective cross functional working initiatives and taking the lead on developing and implementing specific corporate initiatives and representing the organisation with external and internal partners. The postholder will also be responsible for the Business Planning process.
Applicants should have:
- Experience of business planning, collaborative working both internally and externally, and developing strategies and policies in performance improvement.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, design and implementation.
- Knowledge of risk management methodologies and techniques
- Degree qualified
It is beneficial but not essential for applicants to have knowledge of procurement good practice and contract management, experience of managing internal audit contracts and experience of maintaining a database of policies and procedures.
