Permanent Opportunity - Housekeeping (Days and Night opportunity available)

Location:      Walthamstow

Vacancies:    2 – one day and one night

Salary:          £17,076.80 per annum

Contract:      Shift Pattern, Permanent, 40 hours per week (includes paid lunch breaks)


Shift Pattern for Day Floor Attendant: 6 days on and 3 days off, including weekend and bank holidays

Shift Pattern for Night Floor Attendant: 5 evenings on  and 3 evenings off, including weekends and bank holidays

YMCA St Paul’s Group (SPG) emerged from the coming together of four separate Associations over an 18-month period. The group is largest YMCA in Europe and one of the largest providers of supported housing in London and beyond providing a safe place to stay for over 1,200 residents each night.

About the role

To provide a high quality cleaning service within the YMCA St Paul’s Group premises including Residents’ bedrooms and kitchens and all communal areas at YMCA St Paul’s Group properties.

Review job descriptions:
Applicants should have:
  • To have an understanding of cleaning materials and their appropriate uses
  • Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and COSHH
  • To be computer literate: able to use databases, e-mail, word processing 
  • Knowledge of health & safety issues
