The primary purpose of YMCA West London’s Greenford and Hanwell Projects is to provide high quality, holistic support and temporary housing accommodation with associated facilities for young vulnerable people to develop their personal and social skills sufficient for them to live independently from the YMCA in a sustainable way.
About the role
The Housing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the functions which supports the residents. This includes ensuring that supporting people requirements are met, this is achieved by carrying out interviews and risk assessment with prospective clients within the prescribed time limits, and the resident, once accepted, is fully and carefully inducted into the YMCA.

To be successful in this role we are now looking for like-minded driven individuals with the necessary experience to take on this role. You will:
- Knowledge of the Supporting People
- Knowledge of preparing and managing a large budget
- Management skills in the areas of staffing finances and projects
- Knowledge of implementing Arrears Policies
- Knowledge of the security issues which may arise in a residential setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to manage and motivate a team of staff
