Location: YMCA Wimbledon
Contract: Permanent; Part-time – 30 hours on shift rota (Monday- Sunday)
Salary: £15,163.50 per annum

About the role
The Junior Chef will report to the Chef Manager and will be responsible for providing meals for residents and the public, increasing sales and profitability. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of catering and customer service at all times. In the absence of the Head Chef, you will be expected to oversee the kitchen operations.

Applicants should have:
- A recognised catering qualification
• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Chef de Partie
• Experience in cash handling
• Experience in providing a nutritionally balanced menu and an awareness of allergy and nutritional content of menu ingredients.
• Strong organisational and planning skills
