Salary: Roxeth Gate – £12,987 per annum (50 hours bi-weekly); South Ealing and Hanwell – £18,181.80 per annum (70 hours bi-weekly)
YMCA West London’s mission is developing opportunities that transform young lives. The primary purpose of YMCA West London’s South Ealing Project is to provide high quality, holistic support and temporary housing accommodation with associated facilities for young vulnerable people to develop their personal and social skills sufficient for them to live independently from the YMCA in a sustainable way. Every member of staff, therefore, has the support of residents as their primary purpose. The principle accountabilities of this post therefore flow from that premise.
About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide high quality, holistic support for our residents including emotional support and general counselling; help in gaining access to other services; and supervising and monitoring their health and wellbeing. This role reports to the Senior Night Support Manager and has responsibility for the safety of the building and the welfare of the residents during the night hours.

Applicants should have:
• Knowledge of the handling of emergency situations and working with emergency services.
• Be able to communicate effectively with service users, residents, customers and staff both in writing and orally.
• Be able to deal firmly and politely with residents to ensure the House Rules and Licence Agreement are adhered to.
• Relevant vocational training or be willing to undertake further vocational training.
