Based at: YMCA Wimbledon
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week rota, including evenings and weekends
Hourly Salary: £7.70 per hour
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to work as part of a team providing a support service to the Catering Department (Canteen), undertaking cleaning and following guidelines in COSHH and Health and Safety. You will also be required to assist the Chef in food preparation (including particular diets), for the public restaurant, snack menu, functions and events catering as requested and leaving the kitchen in a clean and tidy state ready for next use. Occasionally you may be asked to assist with front of house customer service as requested.
You should be flexible and able to work well with a range of service users including long term residents, short stay guests, members of the public and staff.
