YMCA White House in Hampton is delighted to be home to Andrew Cuerden’s Tuesday evening dance classes from February 2023.
With a busy timetable of Ballroom & Latin dance classes taught by former BBC Strictly Come Dancing Professional Andrew Cuerden, there really is something for everyone. Why not try one of the classes offered, for solos, couples and monthly Tea Dances. YMCA White House is a fantastic venue with its beautifully sprung wooden floor and plenty of parking.
Andrew began Ballroom and Latin American competitive dancing in South Africa at the age of 12, going on to represent both England and Finland in championships around the world before retiring from competition aged 31.
I care about people and believe in holistic approach hence each class is designed to not just teach you how to dance but also help you reduce stress and develop self-awareness, freedom of expression and confidence on any dance floor.
Andrew Cuerdon
During his professional career, he achieved 4th place the Amateur UK competitive rankings and 24th place in the professional World Latin American competition rankings. In 2005 he starred in BBC’s 3rd “Strictly Come Dancing” series, partnered with actress Jaye Jacobs.
In 2013 he founded Dance Savoir Faire Ltd with the intention of creating a brand that delivers dance services and events of the highest quality and professionalism.
My life’s intention is to inspire and encourage conscious evolution and transformation through dance and other holistic activities so that all beings may live their fullest and truest expression.
