The After School Club at YMCA Surbiton is collecting Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers for new equipment for our facilities.

Hand in before 1 July 2015

The Active Kids vouchers are available at all Sainsbury’s grocery stores, petrol stations and when ordering online until 5 May.

Make sure you donate your vouchers to YMCA Surbiton (hand it at main Reception or in the Gym) by 1 July 2015.

Since 2005 Active Kids have provided over £150 million worth of equipment and experiences, and given children the opportunity to have a go at activities like cooking, martial arts and dance.

The campaign pledges to help children “eat well, move well and live well”.

After school Club at YMCA Surbiton

The After School club at YMCA Surbiton has previously spent Active Kids vouchers on new sports equipment and arts and crafts equipment.

The YMCA Surbiton caters for 4 to 11 year olds from two local schools. Convenient for Surbiton Station and on several bus routes, it is a popular choice for busy working parents who commute into London. The After School Club takes place in the upstairs studios, where the children has lots of place to be active.

Activities are planned within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) and include a mix of arts and crafts, imaginary play, cooking, board games and dance. In good weather, we go to the local park for physical play and sports such as football and hockey.
