Back by popular demand, Wild Camp Out returns to YMCA Hawker in Kingston on 14 and 15 July 2018. If you love camping and want a hassle-free outdoor adventure with your family and friends, this is ideal. Show the kids how to put up the tent, roll out the sleeping bags and set up camp. Don’t forget to bring along food, a barbecue and refreshments, then kick back and relax as your children make new friends, let off steam on the big field and roast marshmallows on the campfire.
There’ll be plenty of entertainment to enjoy, and breakfast will be available to buy the next morning. Kids can also enjoy a free early bird session of soft play in The Pod. Ideal if you need some time to clear up your gear
If you don’t have all the camping equipment to hand, then do get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org as we may be able to help. We have a selection of camping equipment like tents, chairs and sleeping bags that has been donated to us by the All England Lawn Tennis Club (used by those who queued overnight to get the best seats for the tennis at Wimbledon).
Two local mums tell us about their experience of Wild Camp Out:
“My 7-year-old daughter Tamara loved running around the big field in the dark, it gave her such a sense of freedom!” says North Kingston local Rosi. “The atmosphere was lovely; everyone was cooking, chatting and sharing.”
“I camped with my 10–year-old daughter,” says Alana. “The YMCA staff worked so hard to make it a successful event.”
At £16 per pitch, it’s great value with free parking on-site with facilities available inside the centre at YMCA Hawker. Book now!
