Location: YMCA South Ealing, main studio, but you may be required to work at our other studios.
Hours of Work: 16 hours Per week (during term time)
Salary: c. £7,911,00 per annum

We are looking for an instructor, qualified in dance, drama or fitness, to join our brilliant Y Active team. If you are not qualified in dance you will need to have experience in teaching it and be willing to learn the ballet syllabus to teach young children the basics. A Gymnastics qualification will be desirable.
Y Active is part of YMCA West London and run health and wellbeing classes and courses for babies, toddlers, children, pre-natal / post-natal women and adults. We have over 25 years’ experience and operate out of purpose built air conditioned studios. Our classes and courses are run by qualified, experienced and very friendly Coaches.
Working as part of the Y Active team, your role will be to develop and run challenging, stimulating and safe activity classes for children and adults. You will need to involve each individual and encourage them to participate fully to realise their full potential in any given activity. You will supervise up to 3 volunteers, trainees and Assistant Coaches.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent customer service skills and a caring and nurturing attitude. You will also need:
- Knowledge and experience of planning and delivering activity/fitness classes.
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- Good ICT skills.
