It’s that time of year when we get together and sing our hearts out with our Community Singing Group! We are preparing for our Christmas Carols celebration in the café at YMCA Walthamstow on Monday 18 December at 3pm.
On offer will be some free refreshments (festive of course!) and plenty of Christmas carols to sing along to (and rap along to). We will be supported by Apostolic Artists who have been helping our Community Singing Group to get ready.
Don’t forget you wear your Christmas jumper, if you have one!
Christmas carols rehearsals
There is still an opportunity for anyone to join our ‘scratch choir’. We have two last rehearsals before the event. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved. Our rehearsals are on Thursday 14 December, 1pm in the the Creche/Youth Zone and Monday 18 December, 1pm in the Brookscroft Training Room (BK24). Our group is friendly and relaxed (plus you’ll get to enjoy some light refreshments).
We are looking for people who love singing, rapping and especially those who can speak Amharic or Tigrinya.
As this is a community event, please feel free to share the event with your contacts including friends and family – it’s open to everyone.
