Free youth activities and projects providing safe and inviting spaces for young people.
Working across the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon, Harrow and beyond, the YMCA Youth Programmes team is based at YMCA Hayes and also works out of YMCA South Ealing and YMCA Roxeth Gate in Harrow.
Experienced and qualified youth workers and coaches are there to provide advice and guidance and run a range of activities for young people to grow, develop and reach their full potential.
We provide a range of activities for children and young people aged 5 – 21+ throughout the year. Our current regular weekly activities are tailed in the timetable contained in our weekly newsletter below. Other targeted programmes such a the Get On Track Employability Course run at different times during the year.
Covid 19 : Temporary changes to the way deliver our services
Please note all face to face youth activity sessions are suspended until further notice. We will begin to reopen services when Lockdown measures are eased and it is safe to do so.
The service is currently operating virtual sessions online and digital contact via Zoom meetings, video and telephone calls and SMS text messages.

Mental Health 25PUSHCHALLENGE
Join us on a 25-day awareness-raising challenge which builds confidence, commitment, and promotes positive mental health.
Write the following post:
“I’ve been nominated by INSERT PERSONS NAME to a 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to raise awareness for PTSD, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues that can drive people to suicide or self-harm.
The challenge is only 25 press ups however… INSERT PERSONS NAME”
I know you have plenty of good friends who will join you on this. The rest of you guys who have posted your videos, well done. Those who keep considering accepting the challenge, go for it you have nothing to lose and will benefit enormously whilst posting the visible message, we all care see you tomorrow
The rules are simple:
Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following/same day.
Every day you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25. Or even do them in clusters of 5.
So don’t worry ,there is no judgement here!
Each day you nominate a different person.
