The Children and Families team hosted a fantastic afternoon of family fun on Saturday 15 October at YMCA South Ealing. The event attracted large numbers of local families, who came to enjoy the activities and refreshments on offer throughout the YMCA South Ealing activity studio and newly reopened café.
The activity studio was transformed into a soft play circuit, where the children could climb, balance, slide and jump on the equipment – or just dance along to the lively music.
In the café area there were arts and crafts stations with a wide variety of activities available. Members of the Jumpers Nursery staff worked with the kids to create beautiful bead jewellery, colourful masks and brilliant autumnal scenes made with natural materials.
The face painting station proved a big hit, and staff were kept busy responding to requests for rainbows, flowers, animal faces and more!
Parents and children alike were well catered for by the newly reopened Y Lounge café – with an extensive buffet and selection of hot and cold drinks. Everyone enjoyed the chance to mingle and chat with staff and other local families, and on leaving were handed a goody bag to enjoy at home.
