About the Role:
As a Swim Teacher at YMCA St Paul's Group, you'll provide dynamic and engaging swimming lessons to groups of learners, fostering their skills and helping them achieve their personal and collective swimming goals. In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating a motivating environment that encourages learners to develop their swimming abilities and confidence in the water.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver effective swimming instruction in line with the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
Maintain an up-to-date register of swimmers and monitor their progress, adapting your teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners, adhering strictly to Hampton Pool policies and emergency procedures.
Engage with learners and their guardians to provide updates on progress and feedback on swimming technique.
Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the pool environment, ensuring a welcoming experience for all users.
