Communication with residents - Resident Support Service

Each day we support over 300 vulnerable, young people on their journey to independent living.

Our variety of projects, coupled with our support staff’s expertise, provides a personalised service which responds to our residents’ needs. Our resident services and support include:

  • life skills training
  • personal development and learning
  • work-based skills and training
  • substance misuse support
  • faith support and guidance
  • health & wellbeing

Our residents’ voices count. Their feedback helps us to shape our work with residents, and informs the development of our key services and activities. According to our latest survey, 82% of residents were satisfied with their support worker, with over 70% satisfied with their progress at the YMCA, finding us ‘friendly and helpful’.
