Children's Softplay Parties at the Pod

Pod soft play parties at YMCA Hawker, Kingston, are available to book at the following times:

• Thursday
• Friday

Party: 4.00 – 5.45pm

• Saturday & Sunday

Party 1: 10.00-11:45
Party 2: 11.15-13:00
Party 3: 12.30-14:15
Party 4: 13.45-15.30

The children will spend 1 hour in the Pod and will spend the remainder of their time in the Crèche, which is where they will be able to enjoy their food and birthday cake.

£449.00 for 25 children inclusive of food and a party host

£506.00 for 30 children inclusive of food and a party host

No, the full amount is payable when you book your party

Pod soft play parties are suitable for children under 11 years.

The sensory area is exclusively for children under 2 years, and children with SEND. It will only made available to party hires on request.

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email at the point of booking

• Parties cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled party date will receive a full refund.
• Parties cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the scheduled party date will receive a 50% refund of their total party cost.
• Parties cancelled within 2 weeks of the scheduled party date will not receive a refund.

The maximum is 30 children, there isn’t a minimum number of children who can attend a party. However, the minimum party package available to purchase is 25.

Yes, this will be fine. We have indoor/outdoor seating

Hot/cold drinks and snacks can be purchased from our onsite cafe. We are licensed to serve alcohol to over 18’s.

We recommend there is 1 adult for every 4 children. Especially if the children are under 8.

No, the menu provides a combination of hot and cold food. This will be sent to you, it is also on our website.

Yes, we do if we receive information 7 days before your actual party. You will also receive an allergen list providing specific details for each item.

No, customers provide their own cake

No, unfortunately only food/drink provided by us can be consumed at the party (except a cake).

We don’t provide entertainment, however, you’re welcome to bring an entertainer with you

Yes, a host is available to help you to set up table ware, balloons etc and the host will clear away afterwards. Please note the host will take a 30-minute break during your party, during the first hour when the children are on the soft play area.

You need to provide cups, plates and table covers.

No, however, you’re welcome to bring your own party bags

Yes, you can park your vehicle free of charge for the duration of your stay. So can your guests.

No, customers are welcome to bring their own decorations.

All the foods served are finger foods.

Thursday’s and Friday’s 4:00pm – 5:45pm – arrive 15 minutes before.

Saturday’s & Sunday’s Party’s 1 – 3 will be able to set up in the creche space 15 minutes before you move out the pod. Party 4 can arrive 15 minutes before the party is due to start.

Yes, 1 month prior to your party, you will receive the following: safeguarding policy, allergen list, party menu and Terms and Conditions.

Yes, children need to wear socks whilst in the Pod. Please note, we do not supply socks. Please remind your guests they need to supply socks for their children.
