Congratulations to our winners, Sade and Rhea on their incredible achievements at the YMCA Youth Matters Awards!

Sade has been awarded Young Leader of the Year, and Rhea has been recognised as Young Worker of the Year – both for their remarkable dedication and impact within our communities.

Sade said: “I couldn’t feel more proud of myself and everyone nominated. But also, to those who work hard for the betterment of our communities that weren’t shown but are recognised…Albeit through volunteering or paid work; workshops or wellbeing cafes, we all deserve our flowers for the dedication we commit to everyday.”

Rhea said: “It’s feels really nice to be recognised for the hard work that myself and everyone at the YMCA St Paul’s Group (SPG) puts in. It was an honour to represent children’s work and I am extremely grateful to the YMCA SPG for giving me this opportunity as well as many others. The YMCA SPG has and will always be special to me.”
