Transforming Lives: YMCA St Paul’s Group’s Impact in 2024–2025

Transforming Lives: YMCA St Paul’s Group’s Impact in 2024–2025

We are pleased to present the YMCA St Paul’s Group Impact Report for 2024–2025, highlighting our contributions across local communities.

Key achievements include:

  • Supported 727 people to transition into independent or improved accommodation, with 70% attaining positive outcomes.

  • Engaged 1,733 young people in YMCA programmes, nearly half from areas with high deprivation, reflecting our reach in priority communities.

  • Delivered physical wellness programmes to 1,344 participants and sports activities to 10,798 individuals, generating £1.13 million in social value through better health.

Our teams have made a significant difference in housing, wellbeing, family, youth work, and community programmes, thanks to their dedication and values-driven approach. This report recognises the commitment of our staff and volunteers and invites you to celebrate our successes and ongoing efforts to build inclusive, thriving communities.

In addition to these headline figures, YMCA St Paul’s Group has expanded its partnerships with local organisations, schools, and healthcare providers to address emerging community needs. We have implemented new support services, such as mental health workshops, skills development sessions, and mentoring programmes, which have further enriched the lives of our beneficiaries.

Throughout the year, we have actively listened to feedback from service users and stakeholders, ensuring that our initiatives remain responsive and effective.

Staff and volunteer training has continued to be a priority, equipping our teams with best practices in safeguarding, psychologically-informed care, and cultural competency. These investments not only enhance service delivery but also foster a supportive environment where everyone feels valued.

Looking ahead, we are committed to building on this strong foundation. We thank all our partners, supporters, and the wider community for standing with us as we work towards a future marked by opportunity, resilience, and hope.
