About the Role:

As the Assistant Manager at Hampton Pool, you will play a pivotal role in the operational management of the pool, ensuring its smooth and effective functioning daily. This role involves supporting various work streams within the pool to effectively deliver their services, ensuring safety and security, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing retail sales and swimming bookings, making each day a new opportunity to positively impact our community and enhance the experiences of our staff, customers, and other users.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Assist in the daily management of the pool, ensuring effective, efficient, and safe operations aligned with our objectives.

Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Customer Engagement: Oversee customer enquiries and ensure a high standard of customer service, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.

Financial Oversight: Manage retail and activity revenues, contributing to the pool’s financial health.

Event Coordination: Assist in organising pool events, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Knowledge: Understanding of operational management within a leisure facility, including health and safety regulations.

Experience: Proven ability in managing diverse teams and complex operations in a service-driven environment.

Skills: Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
