Vote for Sade Walters – Young Campaigner of the Year

Vote for Sade Walters – Young Campaigner of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that Sade Walters, our Progression Team volunteer, Youth Ambassador and Change Agent with World YMCA, has been shortlisted for Young Campaigner of the Year at the YMCA Youth Matters Awards 2025!

Now we need your help to get her over the finish line – please take a moment to cast your vote.

Over the past year, Sade has made a remarkable impact through her campaigning for YMCA St Paul’s Group. She has volunteered with our Progression Team, championing issues around wellbeing and housing and making a real difference in our community.

As a Youth Ambassador and Change Agent, Sade has driven positive change locally and globally. She has:

  • Represented YMCA at the Labour Party Conference
  • Travelled to Belgium with YMCA England & Wales to support the implementation of YMCA World Vision 2030
  • Attended Parliamentary APPGs and supported multiple YMCA England & Wales campaigns
  • Contributed to the London Mayoral and General Election Assemblies
  • Led powerful campaigning with Citizens to highlight the vital link between health and housing – even chairing and presenting at key meetings to strengthen NHS partnerships
  • Volunteered at the YMCA Wimbledon 150th Celebration and Art Exhibition, creating wonderful displays.
  • Thanks to these efforts, YMCA St Paul’s Group was named Institute of the Year by South London Citizens for our outstanding campaign work.

Please vote for her now – it only takes a minute!

Your vote will not only celebrate Sade’s exceptional dedication but also shine a spotlight on the important campaigning work happening at YMCA St Paul’s Group.

Thank you for your support!
