Sexual Health Support & Advice

The youth service at YMCA Walthamstow is part of the national sexual health initiative delivered throughout the UK.

Come Correct provides vulnerable young 16-25 year olds with practical sexual health advice and support, enabling them to make informed choices and achieve healthy sexual lifestyles and avoid health outcomes that impact negatively on their emotional wellbeing.

Sexual Health Drop-In Sessions

  • Wednesday 4 pm – 6 pm
  • Friday 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

 

Local young people attending a session will be able to talk to our sexual health advisor in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment and will have access to the following:

  • Free condoms
  • Contraception
  • Chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing
  • Relationships and sexual health advice on a range of subjects, avoiding unwanted pregnancies and peer pressure
  • Opportunities to disclose concerns about abusive or coercive relationships
  • Signposting to LBWF external agencies such as The Early Intervention Team & Health Professionals
