Exploring New Pathways: YMCA St Paul’s Group Meets with the Brewers Family and Brewers Paints

On Tuesday 28th October, YMCA St Paul’s Group had the pleasure of welcoming Chris Brewer, a second-generation member of the Brewer family, and Helen Brewer, Chair of the YMCA St Paul’s Group Board and Chris’s daughter-in-law. They were accompanied by Kate, Regional Manager for London at Brewers Paints, and JB, Operations Manager. The purpose of the meeting was to explore promising opportunities for collaboration focused on resident support and employment pathways.

This meeting represented a merging of shared values and legacies. Both the YMCA and Brewers have over 100 years of being connected to their community whilst investing in people helping them thrive. The Brewers family’s strong connection to YMCA St Paul’s Group, exemplified by Chris and Helen, highlights a generational commitment doing good business.

The focus was on how Brewers Paints could connect with YMCA, as it supports residents through training and then potential employment opportunities. As a charity rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to flourish, YMCA St Paul’s Group is excited about the potential of this partnership.
