YMCA St Paul’s Group Named One of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026
YMCA St Paul’s Group is proud to announce that for the second year in a row we have been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026 by Great Place To Work® UK.
This award builds on other awards we have received this year, including being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Large Organisations and one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™. Together, these awards reflect our continued commitment to supporting and developing our staff.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ List recognises organisations that create outstanding employee experiences and support wellbeing in a truly holistic way. Rankings are based on employee feedback relating to work-life balance, fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction and financial wellbeing, alongside an assessment of workplace culture and people practices.
This recognition reflects our commitment to creating an environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to thrive. As a charity dedicated to strengthening communities and supporting people to live healthier, happier lives, we know that investing in the wellbeing of our people enables them to make an even greater difference to those we serve.
At YMCA St Paul’s Group, wellbeing is embedded throughout our organisation. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where colleagues feel connected to our purpose, have opportunities to grow and develop, and can maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life.
Richard James, CEO at YMCA St Paul’s Group, comments:
“Being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ for a second year in a row is a fantastic achievement and one we are incredibly proud of. This recognition reflects the culture of wellbeing we have built together, one where people look out for each other and recognise the value of both small everyday actions and larger acts of support in helping colleagues to feel cared for, encouraged and able to thrive. It reflects our values of being holistic and person-centred, and the supportive, psychologically informed environment we are continuing to create across YMCA St Paul’s Group, where staff support one another in practical ways every day.”
We are incredibly proud of this recognition and remain committed to listening, learning and continuously improving the experience of our colleagues. Together, we will continue building a workplace where people can thrive while making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
